In their desire for Ahmadinejad to succeed, today's neocons are in complete opposition to Reagan's attitude towards the Soviet Union. Reagan was prepared to confront the USSR, but his view of that country went far beyond "us versus them". When the USSR and Eastern Europe improved from within, no one was happier than Ronald Reagan.
