Rove, Thiessen and Torture

The usual flim-flam, rebutted by all the actual sources we have. Rove's interest in torture was driven, I think, by a sense that it could be used as an electoral tool against the Democrats, portraying them as weak on terror. That was his game-plan for the 2006 Congressional elections. As always, Rove was uninterested in the substantive rights and wrongs.
