A reader writes:

Desperation? Or an innovative president looking for every route possible to reach the American people without having to go through the filter of the (insert various pejorative adjectives) mainstream news media? I can't believe that I can agree with the Washington Times on anything, blech, but I definitely disagree with your dismissal of Obama's rationale. The more Leno/Letterman/late night and the less Wall St. Journal and Washington Post, the better.
