Because Glenn Reynolds has no idea what the difference is between torture and rendition (not that he cares); and because Michael Ledeen seems to be just learning the difference between the rendition policy of Bill Clinton and the extraordinary-rendition-to-torturing regimes policy of Bush and Cheney.

I mean: there are legitimate areas of disagreement; and then there's just, well, proud, Palin-style ignorance.
