Nick Gillespie points to this chart in order to argue that the stimulus is unnecessary. According to a Macroeconomic Advisers report (subscription only) that arrived in the Dish inbox a few minutes ago Q1-2009 (current quarter) GDP is tracking at - 4.6 percent. Unless they are very, very wrong, the end of the depression is not nigh.
