The Right On Jindal

Brutal:

I don't care how much of a star Jindal is, America doesn't elect somewhat-off dorks as president.

Brutal:

All they would have to do to “Palin” Jindal is have Pohler do her Dennis Kucinich with dark makeup.

Brit:

The speech read a lot better than it sounded. This was not Bobby Jindal’s greatest oratorical moment.

Even Malkin was in a pickle:

I’ll take Bobby Jindal’s genuine faith in American entrepreneurship over Barack Obama’s fear-mongering-turned-faux Reaganism any day.

I think that meant he bombed. Some of this is cruel: the man had a very tough act to follow, and is new to national media at this level. But there are some core qualities that people look for in a president. Jindal doesn't have them now, and one suspects, for all his virtues, never will.
