Cramming

Peter Suderman reacts to news that Palin is " frequently up until the small hours of the morning in her hotel room trying to cram as much information as possible before the debate:"

The fact that she’s studying to be Vice President through all-night cram sessions, as if the campaign were some undergrad final, does not give me hope. This is a position that requires someone who is already comfortable and familiar with the issues, not someone who’s stuffing facts and figures in her head at the last minute and hoping they all come out in the right order. Obama may not be terribly experienced, but there’s no question he’s got a firm grasp on the major issues of the day.
