A pet cow: For between £200 and £2,000, you can buy a Dexter cow (a small Irish breed the size of a large German shepherd) that is not only an adorable family pet, but also gives 16 pints of milk a day and keeps the lawn mown. Touted as “just right for the garden,” the cows are being sold as a sort of DIY solution to rising food prices.
