Charles Arthur says TV isn't in trouble:

...there's a recurring myth that people are watching less TV and therefore fewer TV ads. TV has its fair share of challenges, no argument there, but fewer people watching it and its ads is not one of them. The facts clearly show otherwise but the myth exists.
