She Wants Veep?

That's what all this Clintonian never-say-never agony is all about. Marc Ambinder says to watch her speech tonight for any sense that she would be "willing" to do anything to help the campaign. She just repeated that on a conference call:

"I'll do whatever I can to help us win."

Feinstein also hypes the fusion ticket today. Halperin adds:

[A]ny delay in choosing a running mate will only bring rampant speculation about whether he is going to pick Clinton – and if not, why not – speculation so extreme it might warp and dominate the entire process (and potentially create reams of critical and distracting press for his eventual Veep selection).

More psyching out from the Clintons, in my view. Obama needs to ignore it.
