Reality And The Clintons

A useful piece of advice for Obama from a reader:

Personally, I think Hillary needs to acknowledge that Obama won, and that she has lost, before he should negotiate anything like the veep spot, other possible policy role for her or Bill, or even using his funds to pay her campaign debt.  This business of "I'll acknowledge reality if you negotiate with me" is the wrong place to start, and a symptom of what's been wrong with her all along.

Reality is negotiable to her, and that is a sign of someone who is deeply unhinged.  If she can acknowledge that she is a rational player, then he can and should think about what next steps they can take together.  Not before.
