Denmark introduced gay marriage in 1989 and went on to win the European Championship in 1992 - surely (football fans around the world would agree) an impossible event.

I'm surprised Stanley Kurtz hasn't noticed the correlation. Clearly marriage equality causes national teams to play better. What other explanation could there possibly be?
