Did Someone Actually Write This Sentence?
ByFrom the Weekly Standard last week:
I haven't really been following this issue, mostly because I'm pretty sure that whatever the government is doing to these terrorists wouldn't "shock my conscience."
Is this what conservatism now is: proud ignorance of the gravest moral matters combined with blind faith that the government can't possibly err?
