Lego

Just for Doug Coupland:

The 1:50 scale model, made from 250,000 pieces of Lego, is for a series of tower-like apartments with courtyard spaces for Copenhagen’s meatpacking district, now in the planning stages.

Not as cool as Lego's Escher model, but cool enough for the Lego-heads.
