Hugh Hewitt gives Powerline a big sloppy wet kiss. I'm glad they're part of the blog conversation too, and appreciate how tough it is to fill a daily blog for five years (or, in my case, seven). Alas, we have diverged sharply these past five years, as they view the war on terror as a success and Bush a great visionary. But that just means you get to read opposing takes on evolving events - which is the point of the blogosphere, if you know where to look. As for influence and size and power, Hewitt surely exaggerates when he calls them the most powerful blog on earth, with no close second. But when it comes to delusional power-worship, few match Hewitt. Anyway, congrats. Keep going.
