Gaffney's Lincoln

By The Daily Dish

Frank Gaffney has a particularly unhinged column in the Washington Times today. He cites an alleged "quote" from Lincoln to defend his own authoritarianism. Glenn Greenwald performs a service in dismembering it. (To read Greenwald, alas, you now have to go through Salon's ad hoopla, which now advertizes ... Greenwald. This really is a model designed to kill blog reader traffic.)
