Tell Me What's the Most Annoying Part of Your Job

The Atlantic is launching another feature about you and how you work, and we want your words.

Our question: What's the most annoying thing about your job? Tell us what about your line of work makes it hardest for you to get out of bed in the morning. And do your best to make it somewhat universal. Are your customers routinely rude or unappreciative? Tell me! Is your industry or line of work biased against your gender? Tell me!

Do try to keep it as broadly applicable as possible. If the most annoying part of your job is that your chair doesn't have a left arm, we're sorry to hear it, but we're probably not going to publish it. Think of it this way. If it's worth a call to your help desk, call your help desk. If it's something you'd tell a group friends at a happy hour or dinner, tell us first.
We want to hear from everybody: health care workers, attorneys, teachers, librarians, stay-at-home parents, freelancers. No matter your profession or industry, we want to hear from you.
