Two Shopping Days Until Christmas

Amazon says that with two day shipping (free if you get Amazon Prime) it can get anything to you if ordered by 8 pm.  And I understand that there are these large buildings set near highways where you can actually go and physically pick stuff up without the intervention of a UPS man, though I'm not really sure how that works.  Wouldn't you have to leave your house?
