A Conversation with Joel Klein

On May 10, a cross-section of New York City's intelligentsia gathered for cocktails, dinner, and a live conversation between Editor-in-Chief James Bennet and former New York City chancellor and author Joel Klein. Inspired by Klein's just-released Atlantic article, "Scenes from the Class Struggle," the two discussed the twisted politics of New York City education and Klein's ideas to rethink the American education system.
