NEW MATERIALS DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS:
As of June 1, 2009, The Atlantic offers a new electronic file transmission system for ad materials.
Advertisers may now upload and submit files directly to our online ad portal.
Please create your login/password for The Atlantic Ad Portal, where you will be able to upload files within minutes. All files undergo a preflight check ensuring that the files meet the print requirements of our specifications below.

CMYK only; no spot, RGB, or indexed color in files.
Files received with non-standard color will be converted to CMYK.
The Atlantic is not responsible for any resulting color shift.

PROOFS
For 2/3, 1/2 horizontal, 1/3 page ads: two SWOP proofs are ideal but not required. Send with materials to the address above.
Color lasers are appreciated for in-house content proofs and will not be used on press; in absence of SWOP proofs, The Atlantic is not responsible for reproduction.
For 1/6, 1/12, and one inch ads: please send a color laser to the address above.
